Good morning all, as always I begin this post by apologizing for being away so long !
Covid is still with us of course, and we are learning to live with it. Spring has sprung and everything is growing like crazy. And so life goes on.
This month’s pancake breakfast was dedicated to members Jim and Sherry Thompson and their family. We lost Jim in a terrible accident a couple weeks ago. Sherry and three of their precious grandchildren are finally home from the hospital and are on the road to recovery.
We are so grateful to everyone who came out to support Sherry, to Tim Lewis, Graydon Shepherd and Brother Alvin Jenkins for the wonderful music. I was astounded to learn that Graydon was only 13 !

As always, pancake breakfasts are on the 2nd Saturday of the month and are held at Smethport United Methodist Church, 200 Smethport Drive, West Jefferson and all proceeds benefit folks right here in out community
